Join us for an intimate evening of food, wine and opera with lyric mezzo-soprano Hannah Kostros.

Begin with a glass of prosecco and canapes on arrival as Hannah welcomes you to an evening of entertainment. Be seated for a three course dinner, interspersed with opera classics and a few jazz favourites.

Hannah Kostros

Hannah is a Melbourne based, Australian mezzo-soprano and is becoming known for her love and versatility of repertoire.

Hannah holds a Master’s of Opera Performance degree from the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (MCM), and was awarded the Sleath Lowry Scholarship which enabled her to study with renowned vocal coaches in Italy, Denmark, and under the tutelage of Dr Stephen F. Austin at the University of North Texas. 

In 2023, Hannah was the runner up in the Warnambool Eisteddfod Aria competition and was a finalist in the Royal Melbourne Philharmonic Aria competition. She was also the reserve finalist for the German Australian Opera Grant.

Hannah has performed professionally in the Victorian Opera Chorus in 2023 in Idomeneo and Galileo, and with Opera Australia, most notably in Wagner’s epic Ring Cycle in 2013 and 2016. In 2022, she made her solo debut with Victorian Opera as Winter in The Selfish Giant, directed by Cameron Menzies. She looks forward to performing in the chorus of VO’s La Rondine in August this year.

She has been accepted into the prestigious Lisa Gasteen National Opera Program as a 2024 artist.
